The Molnlycke 41690 is a Biogel PI Indicator Surgical Underglove designed for medical use. These gloves are made from synthetic polyisoprene, which shares a similar molecular structure to natural rubber latex, providing a fit, feel, and comfort comparable to natural rubber latex gloves. The underglove is blue in color and can be worn alone or as part of the Puncture Indication System™, offering a smooth surface specifically engineered for easy double-gloving.
These gloves are recommended for use in all general surgeries or surgeries where latex allergies are a concern for patients or clinicians. They are designed to help prevent glove punctures from going unnoticed, with a blue color spot that alerts the wearer of punctures in the outer latex glove if a perforation occurs in the presence of fluid.
The unique Biogel coating on the inner surface makes the gloves easy to don even with damp hands and soothes the skin to help prevent moisture loss. The gloves are powder-free to eliminate starch powder-related complications and are air inflation tested and visually inspected for quality and user confidence. They have a low dermatitis potential and are non-pyrogenic.
