Caring Non-Woven Sterile Drain Sponges

Sterile Drain Sponges in a non-woven rayon and polyester blend, these sponges help keep tube sites clean and protected. They are pre-slit to allow for a snug fit and are designed to lay flat around a drainage tube. Ideal for IVs, drains, tubes, catheters and tracheotomies.

6-ply, rayon/polyester fabric provides maximum absorbency and low linting.
Pre-cut sponge eliminates the need for sterile scissors and conserves nursing time.

This sponge features an extra fenestration which allows it to lay flat when wrapped around a drainage tube. Without it, the sponge will pucker, decreasing effectiveness by allowing fluids to pool around the drain tube. Its a simple feature that most other drain sponges do not offer. Each ply rayon/polyester sponge is highly absorbent, low-linting and fast wicking to wound beds. Latex-Free.
