The BD 309631 is a 5cc syringe with a 22G x 1-1/2″ needle. This sterile, single-use syringe is designed for secure and efficient injections. It features a BD PrecisionGlide needle that is attached to the syringe. The needle is designed with a regular bevel and regular wall. The syringe has a clear barrel with a bold scale for easy reading and a BD Luer-Lok tip for a secure connection. The syringe also features a positive plunger rod stop and a tapered plunger rod design.
The syringe is sterile and does not contain natural rubber latex or DEHP. It is disposable and designed for single use only. The packaging contains 100 syringes per shelf pack and 400 syringes per case. The syringe complies with all relevant sections of ISO 10993 “Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices”.
The BD 309631 syringe is primarily sterilized via E-beam, in accordance with current ISO 11137 guidelines. It has been evaluated for biocompatibility and pyrogenicity, and meets the limits specified in the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) chapter 85 – Bacterial Endotoxins Test and chapter 161- Transfusion and Infusion Assemblies and Similar Medical Devices.
The syringe has been tested and inspected in accordance with current applicable product specifications. The released devices meet applicable BD product specifications.
